If a 16 yr old female loses 37-40 pounds will she have loose flabby skin or be flabby?

if she isnt fat(just chubby/chunky) and the weight is NOT in one location such as the stomache but is an all overweight loss ???


is the loose skin only when a very obese person loses alot or someone loses a lot more weight very very very quickly ?some have lost over 100 and no access skin so since im young will i be ok?

You will be fine. Your skin will be tight and not loose. In fact, you will love the way you look.
Reply:the best way to avoid flabby skin is to lose weight gradually %26amp; slowly. the reason you see those women on tv who need plastic surgery after weight loss is usually because they lost it too rapidly due to a crash diet or stomach surgery. if you lose it more gradually by exercising and cutting back on portions, your skin will have time to shrink as your muscles grow.
Reply:lose the weight slowly %26amp; exercise %26amp; you should be fine...moisterize areas that may show stretch with cocoa butter to minimize that possibility...
Reply:i bet that you will be fine with no loose skin. however if that happens just do some exercises to tone the area up.
Reply:I'm not dermatolgist, but I think, at 16, your skin still has plenty of moisture and elasticity to accomodate such a weight loss. Just be sure that you lose the weight in a gradual, sensible manner and not on some ''crash" diet or starvation method.

Reply:Yes. But it might not be as bad as so people. When you gain weight the skin has to "stretch" to accommodate to weight gain, that's why you get stretch marks. However, if the person is young and weight was no concentrated in one area it might not be as bad. Working-out is key to having a tone body and this will help with avoiding the flabby look.
Reply:your young and still have alot of elasticity in yr skin. so as you lose and also do exercise you will tone up without a problem of any loose skin. read tips on weight loss that will help you more on this site
