How to protect your skin from getting old?

Hi,

I just turned 19. I am just worried about my face getting old.

Right now, I don't have any wrinkles or any signs of getting old.

I have oily skin and tiny pores on my nose though. people say i look young and have fairly good skin.

I went to Clique and estee lauder, they don't have "SPF/PA++" sun block.

I know I should wear sunblock everyday but i just want to know how to care my skin from wrinkles, dark eyes, pores and, night care and al lthat stuff

please help me!

How to protect your skin from getting old?
Hi! Well, it sounds like you are well on your way to keeping your skin youthful, and yes, sunblock is probably the most important weapon against aging. DON'T TAN!!! You will regret it when you are older.

Also, people with oily skin tend to not show the signs of aging as fast as people with drier skin. That being said, however, people with oily skin are more prone to breakouts. But you are very young and you shouldn't worry too much about aging yet! Here are some tips that might help you:

You should wash your face at least once a day with a cleanser for your skin type; depending on how oily your skin is, you may need to wash it twice.

Make sure you remove ALL of your makeup before bedtime as it can clog your pores.

Use a moisturizer after cleansing your face in the morning - you can kill two birds with one stone if you get a moisturizer with SPF.

If you get the occasional breakout, there are many spot treatments you can use - I would recommend one with either salycylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. You can get these types of spot treatments at the drugstore or at a specialty store like Sephora. And I know it's hard, but don't pick at your face if you have a breakout! It could cause scarring, and you definitely don't want that!

You could use an eye cream if you are really worried about lines or dark circles, but you don't need an expensive anti-aging one; all you need is one that moisturizes the eye area, and you can use it day or night.

Of course, exercising and eating healthfully are always recommended for a good complexion.

You probably don't need an anti-aging product, but if you are set on using one, a night anti-aging cream or serum is best. Skin repairs itself at night while you sleep, so it makes sense to use a product that works at night. Be careful though: many anti-aging products are very heavy and can clog your pores. They are made for skin that is older and drier and needs more moisture and repair.

You also don't have to use products all from the same brand. Don't listen to salespeople that tell you this! Find the ones that work best for you - if they are from the same brand, great! If not, great! What matters is getting the results you want from products you like. Hope this helps!
Reply:SUNBLOCK!!!!! I know you said you already know that, but it's really important. That and a good moisturizer is key. Drink lots of water, and make sure to have a healthy diet. The healthier you are on the inside, the better your skin will look.

And most importantly, DON'T SMOKE!!!!!!
Reply:you know what people say works great is coco butter lotion! there is somthing in it that help your skin stay young. my mom uses it and she is 39 and could pass for a 28 year old.
Reply:You need to use sunblock!! It is sooo important! Also, make sure you wash your face at least once a day, and use a moisturizer so it doesn't dry out!
Reply:Yes Sun Block helps your skin. Solar rays can do damage all year-round, so make sure you focus on preventing harm to your skin.90% of the visible signs of aging (that's actinic aging) is due to the sun exposure. So get yourself good sunblocks and mositurizers to support your skin before the damage is done.

Have you tried Arbonne products? They have a Before Sun line including many products fro example Save Face and Body SPF 15- you can use this as mositurizing sunscreen alone or under make-up, their is also hair Protectant, Lip Saver, etc...also have a Teen Line called FYI and all these products are made with natural plant oils and vitamins.

Please e-mail me if you would like more information and is interested in the products I am happy to help you....Good Luck!
