Skin Cancer?
Melanoma...describe phase 1, phase 2, phase 3, and phase 4. Phases one and two can usually be treated without the body reacting and waging a battle. In phase 3 your body is fighting with the chemo and drugs, also your body against your own body. Phase 4 is fatal...usually only having 3-10 months to live. Most melanoma cases are started by being out in the sun as a teenager, hanging an arm out the window, or tanning beds. A freckle turns into a mole, a mole turns into a lump which is cancerous.
Reply:various stages and types of skin cancer
how to treat early detected skin cancer
go on the internet and find pictures of the various forms of skin cancer.
Reply:Skin cancer is a very widespread disease that can be diagnosed in babies to geriatrics. I would definately print up many pictures of all forms of skin cancer. Probably in a portfolio style. There are types that can show up on infants that are related to the liver. Melanoma can also be caused from heredity. You are lucky though to have a project on this disease, b/c there is alot of info (w/ pictures to display) to submit. It doesn't take much research to understand the many diff. causes, treatments, prognosis, shapes, colors, and textures. It is also a good thing to know for you and your family' health. If you know what to look for, you can catch the cancer early with a good prognosis. Good luck on your project.

Here is answer most people dont know.
Causes of Cancer
There are many potential causes of cancer. They include unresolved congestion and the buildup of waste products in the lymphatic system, lack of exercise, poor diet, nutritional deficiencies, environmental toxins, chronic constipation and an impacted colon, hormone imbalances, parasites, sexually transmitted diseases (especially gonorrhea), stress, as well as genetic predisposition.
2. Sunscreens: Although sunscreens have for years been touted as a preventive measure to protect against melanoma (skin cancer), new research indicates that sunscreens themselves can be instrumental in causing melanoma because of how they prevent the skin from producing vitamin D, an essential hormone-like nutrient that helps to inhibit the growth of melanoma and other cancers. The new research debunks the claim that sunscreens prevent cancer in humans. All they do is prevent sunburn. Moreover, research also shows that the rise in melanoma rates have been directly proportional to the sales rates of sunscreens. A more protective method is to avoid direct sunlight around an hour before and three hours after noon and/or to wear protective head gear (hats, visors, scarves, etc.) when outdoors.
Best of health to you
Cheers
